What job description should include?
A job Description should include the following;
- A job summary: This involves an overview of the job position, stating clearly the most important functions, clearly communicating to the applicants’ specifications for filling the job role, Selling the job to the candidates you’re trying to attract and weed out those applicants that don’t meet the requirement) keeping it short and concise
- List the job functions: this involves a more detailed description of job duties stating the daily activities, as a recruiting manager you should be aware of federal and state anti-discrimination laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018,
- A Requirement Sections: This section involves a list of the prospective candidates’ education, certifications, licenses and experience related to the job role;
- Other Information: This involves any other important information, about the position, such as location, working hours, travel requirement, reporting relationship and any other information
