Maintenance/Utility Service Manager Job Responsibilities
The Maintenance/Utility Service Manager is responsible for maintaining a well-organised and efficient maintenance department. This includes establishing a cost-effective maintenance management system and ensuring that all company facilities, machinery, and equipment are kept in optimal working condition at all times.
Maintenance/Utility Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities include:
- The maintenance and utility team is responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of company facilities, machinery, and equipment.Â
- Arranging for an effective and efficient maintenance management system and preparing a periodic budget for maintenance services and repairs.
- Participating in the recruitment, hiring, and training processes to ensure a high-quality maintenance staff.
- Ensuring that the team complies with all company safety rules, regulations, goals and objectives.
- Supporting the Technical Manager in the day-to-day management of the plant.
- Providing detailed reports to management on relevant technical issues.
- Engaging in and contributing to the company’s product marketing, being familiar with all company machinery, facilities, and equipment capacities.
- Oversee the activities of both the electrical and mechanical sections of the maintenance department.
- Designed and oversaw preventative and corrective maintenance plans to minimize downtime for all machinery, equipment, and other company facilities.
- Participate in, oversee, and coordinate maintenance tasks.
- Any other duty assigned
